I subscribe to Creative Cloud and I have never purchased LR standalone. Why would Adobe keep this old LR around?

Do you mean that it is still installed on your system? If so it is because old versions were left in place whenever you upgraded to a new version.... just in case there was an issue and you needed to downgrade. Dan Marchant

Mar 24, 2021 07:46 | #6 I removed Ver6, and Ver10 lost the connection to the latest catalog and acted like it had never been run but was easily fixed. I was hoping that removing Ver6 would fix the LR startup problem I have but it didn't help. .
