In the great Texas freeze we lost a few birds and one of them was this little one. I have been trying to ID it but with no luck so I would like to ask the brain trust for some help please. The other one was a Morning Dove.

I need an ID on this little fellow. I'm not much of a birder. :-)

I took this photo at the Tampa Zoo but I don't remember if it was actually part of the exhibit. I never saw the adult fly to the nest. Hopefully someone can ID the bird by the photo of the little guy or the type of nest. I've tried to match the type of nest but have not found anything.

Difficult, I'd say either an oropendola or a weaver.

Assuming this was take there in FL, this looks like a Carolina Wren. When attempting to get an ID on an unknown bird, it is most useful to include the location and date of the photo so that we can eliminate non-regional and migratory species from the possibility list.

Sorry. It was taken here in Jacksonville just today. Thanks for the information. Greatly appreciated. :-)
