Best way to transfer multiple large files?

I need to send about a dozen large files to a client (>10 MB ea). What is the current best way to do this?

I'm told FTP is "old school" and no longer desired.

I'm familiar with Dropbox, but find it clunky to use.

Is there something newer and better, or is Dropbox still the standard?

Yes, DropBox works well for getting files to customers. I use it regularly.

If you have a hosted web site, you should be able to build a folder within that site that your client can click on a link and from there download the content.

This is what I do for all my clients files. Easily add a login and password. They can use an ftp client or just browser access.

You can use Google Drive to store files that you wish to share.

Some other options:

If you have a Microsoft 365 subscription you can create a OneDrive folder and share it.

I’ve also been receiving files from a software company that uses WeTransfer.
