77D use front main dial for exposure compensation?

I'm sure this is a stupid question but I just can't figure out if it's possible.
Currently the rear dial changes exposure compensation and I'd like for the front main dial to do that instead of adjust aperture or shutter depending on what mode the camera is in.

Is this possible? I've gone through all the menus I could think of but can't seem to find a way to change it.

I'm not very familiar with this range of Cameras, but when I look at the relevant page in the manual (pg. 409)

..It does not appear that the dials are customizable.

This is a feature that is present in the models I shoot, and the info on doing so would be in the manual at that location (Customizing the camera)

That's kind of what I was thinking. It's very awkward to use that dial but I can adapt.

Yes, a camera like the 1DX does have a button labeled +/- in front of the top display. While you press that one, whatever function is assigned to the rear dial then ends up on the main dial.
That button isn't on the lower end models.
