MalVeauX "Looks rough and well used" More info | Apr 19, 2021 16:04 | #2 I agree with Affinity, it's nearly a clone, it's fast, almost all the same functions, and the price is very reasonable for the full suite.

I might be tempted to use it to replace ACR/Photoshop though, if I were still doing just Bridge/ACR/Photoshop. Haven't been doing that as my normal workflow since 2011. I just couldn't consider giving up Lr, unless you know of a DAM system with the same level of integration of cataloguing, access to the RAW converter, and of course the multiple output modules, not just a simple export. Alan I never used the DAM feature within Lightroom, so I do not miss it in PhotoLab. I just need something to edit and process my RAW files.

I was a DPP die hard once. Develop and then TIFF to PS for some fine tuning, resizing and export sharpening. It was a nightmare for event shooting so after about 3 trials I switched to LR. Like many other valuable documentation Canon killed that too. I sometimes think Canon decided it would be better not to give out too much detailed information. Image Editing OK
