I work in both LR and PS ultimately saving everything in LR for cataloging, printing, etc.

Today I edited a photo in PS and saved to LR, the dimensions (6000 pixels x 7200 pixels) remained the same but the image in LR has about a half inch cropped off the bottom and a quarter inch cropped off the right side. I have gone back and forth, checking the details in both but I can't figure out what is happening.

I know the amount being cropped is minor but it's the corner where I place my signature (in PS) and it does make a difference when I go to set up my files to print.

Any ideas? I'm not sure where else to check. This is the first time this has happened to me.

Are you sure you didn't crop the image in Photoshop?
Are you sure it is not the way you are viewing the image in Lightroom?
Can you post screenshots of the image in Photoshop and Lightroom.

I found the problem. I apply lens profile corrections whenever I first import into LR. For whatever reason, when I returned to LR from PS, the lens correction was being reapplied. What this did was warp the image so it wasn't just the lower right corner that was affected, it was all the corners. As soon as I turned off the profile correction, the image corrected itself.

I tried so many things to trouble shoot and this finally came to me as I was reviewing two images side by side. I noticed something and realized the image was being warped some how.

Case closed!
