Crazy to think the calibration is one third the cost of that lens. This does not make me happy as a 25 year Canon user, they got enough of my money.

The anti-gouging price protection put into place for COVID obviously did not apply to lens servicing!
I wonder, if you send in a lens, do they return it with a roll of toilet paper?!

As a CPS Gold member, I just had 2 lenses and a 5d3 serviced Canon facility in Norfolk, VA. The cost to clean and calibrate my 70-200mm L ii was $165. Cost for my 16-35mm L ii was $265 but it had one of the glass groups curvature out of spec.

Living in a big huge city like Miami, I would think that you would have some independent lens and camera technicians in your region. . Why even consider using Canon when you have people around you that can do the repair better, more conveniently, and less expensively?

Based on my experiences with Canon and with independent guys who work on lenses, Canon should be one's last resort, not one's first option.

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".

Wouldn't you have to send the body along with the lens for this calibration?
