Wow - excellent set, showing some really dynamic action.

Wonder how hard it is get around in all that heavy armour. Some great facial expressions.:-)

Cheers

Dennis

I like these shots, especially the one of the jester. That's a pose you don't see often. One thing that strikes me is the bright Texas light. It's not what one expects of Elizabethan England. If you wanted to make them more moody (moorish?), I wonder if reducing contrast, saturation, and brightness might do the trick.

I used to go to the Renaissance Faire in Tuxedo, NY. I got some good shots there and won a couple of awards. Sadly, a few years ago they opened ten pubs on the 1/10 acre grounds, which turned it into another up-state beer blast for New York City hipsters. It was hard to get a shot without somebody's hand holding a plastic cup of booze creeping into it. The two hour traffic jam getting into and out of the venue on the single lane road wasn't appealing either.

These shots are great! Love the expression on #1. That has to be the perfect lens for this even...

Really nice work, great captures, love the dynamic feel and colors and facial expressions. Really nailed the feel of the event. Makes me wish I had been there and can't think of a better result from looking at photos.
