My main drive C: is SSD and holds programs.

Have a 2nd internal drive D: (not ssd) and has my images, documents, etc.

I'm guessing "The Recycle Bin" is on the C: drive.

If I delete files from D: drive ... do they go to recycle bin on C: drive ?

If I recall correctly, each hard drive in your computer has an independent recycle bin where the files you delete from that drive reside until you restore them or empty the recycle bin. When you reach the bin limit size, I know Windows 10 will start deleting older files to make room for newer deleted files. All deleted files from all drives show up in the desktop Recycle Bin. When you open the Recycle Bin up you will see a column listing "Original Location" that tells you on which drive the deleted file is located.

And if you right click on Recycle Bin and choose Properties, you can set parameters for each drive's Recycle Bin separately.
