Adobe recommends to have that unchecked until you are satisfied with an update working properly. Adobe used to have a tool called Creative Cloud Cleaner that would remove old versions. I’ve never used it so can’t address any issues it may create. It can be found at https://helpx.adobe.com …nstallation-problems.html
