I pass this place a lot - its on a main road, many bus routes past it - a lot of foot traffic - perhaps a great place for a shop?

The pictures were taken while the shop is CLOSED.

If you see something you like just take it, and put the money through the letter box! :)

p.s I only realised later I was in ISO1600, which is why things were so washed and blown in the originals so there is a fair bit of pp to reclaim the colour... (I know the house looks 'bright' with its red and blue, but thats how it looks in real life - its um... vivid!)

what can I say... Im a moron :D

Interesting story behind the pics. I have yet to see a store in NYC that has the same business strategy. Nice sharp details, wonderful colors in spite of the high ISO. Wonderfully cluttered place, thanks for sharing :)

I dig these, totally. I like the third shot the most, but I think the first shot has the most potential. My issue with the first shot is that you let the frame spill off into the brush, so the eye is led from the closest part of the building, along the building and then to... what the hell, some bushes? If you'd stepped to the left to change the angle a bit, you could have captured the same amount of the house but not had the frame spill off which would have been more effective IMO.

Otherwise, the colours are spot on, wow. Blue and red always compliment each other well in photos, and this one works awesome in that regard. The story attached to the images also enhances it, good stuff for sure man.

Very nice colors, and an interesting place.
It reminds me of a little municipal golf course I once played in Missouri, where the keys were in the golf carts, and you just put your money in an envelope for golf and cart rental, and dropped it in the box.
It's comforting to know that places still exist where the trust in your fellow humans is high.

Nice, vivid colours. Interesting story about the honour payment system- wouldn't work here in North America!
