Nice shot Terry. The R5 seems to have a characteristic of its own - I have noticed this on others pictures - is this setting a new standard we all have to reach for?:-) Also, it seems that your RF 24-105L is performing better than the EF version. Maybe it’s due to the 45 Mpix sensor?

I only came across this thread by chance since there are already two other well established church threads ‘Churches from all over the world’ and ‘Your best church shots’ and also threads dedicated to war memorials and statues. Maybe this thread could be integrated into one of the others to give the pictures more exposure - just a thought.

In the mountains of Italy the church of the madonna della corona. On the road to the church are several sculptures about on his way to the cross.

That church is in a rather precarious position jos! I trust God is keeping that mountain stable.-?

You are right. Building on that place must be a very difficult job. Bringing in all the materials. now there is a good road, but i guess in that time not. The result is impressive. I enjoyed the trip to this cathedral. I hope it will there for ages.

Hello, Ray. I love the R5 and, of course, the 45mp mean you can crop, crop, crop. Yes, the RF 24-105L is definitely better than my old EF version, but I now hardly ever have the RF 70-200L off my camera, though. A great lens, I reckon.

Well, Terry - Having the RF 100-500L and the RF 70-200L I can only look at their boxes at the moment - I still (not-so-patiently) await the R7 - but the longer I wait the more time I have to mull over the R5 and I don't want to part with more money just now.
