Feb 19, 2023 11:48 | #2665 On a photo walk at Sunderland riverside last week I stopped to see what was occuring on the bridge above with numerous emergency services vehicles in attendance. Someone had climbed across the bridge safety fence and was threatening to jump into the river below. Tyne and Wear fire and rescue service managed to talk the male into allowing them to get him back across to safety, which is the point they were at here. Fortunately a successful conclusion.
