I very much appreciate your comments, Richard! I'd missed them on a few earler trips so was especially excited to see them. These 2 were only part of a large colony nesting on the earthen sides of the riverbank.

I think this is a Scarlet Robin (male) not a Flame Robin. Happy for others to pitch in please

Gorgeous birds not seen much at our place unfortunately
