Went out yesterday and found this Coopers Hawk chasing the flocks of migrating Flickrs, would have loved to capture a chase but unfortunately didn't happen. This is a heavy crop shot from a distance at mid day so the resolution is a bit lacking:cry: Also observed a Merlin chasing and capturing the large Dragon Flies migrating through the area, unbelievable how fast and agile those small falcons are.

What a stunning, sharp close-up shot of this male Superb Fairy Wren, Richard! Wonderful setting with a super background!

Mike thank you for your very kind comments and encouragement :-)

Steve that top one is exceptionally nice.
The whole image makes a beautiful natural looking photo.
Sure is a very attractive bird.

Both of these are lovely shots, Steve! But I must admit, I'm partial to the Cape May Warbler shot. The bird stands out so nicely, and the great color from the bird and the Chinese Dogwood berries are quite eye catching!

Outstanding Bald Eagle portrait, Ed! This shot shows the eagle in a very regal manner.
