I've never seen it either, Phil. These two grebe shots are very are quite nicely captured. Love the low camera angle.

Well, Mike, I'm a little embarrassed to say this, but you've schooled me once again. Your opportune timing on this capture of the Double-crested Cormorant taught me it has a blue mouth...I can't believe I didn't know that...as well as those spectacular eyes. Well done!

Thanks a bunch, Steve! We get to see the beautiful eyes pretty often, seldom do we get the opportunity to see vivid blue mouth. Of all the numerous shots I snapped at this bird, this is the only one that really shows off it's blue mouth nicely.
