This shot is a real beauty, Steve! I remember loving my 40D. This shot proves how nice a camera it is...especially when coupled with the Canon 70-200mm lens.

Thanks much, Mike! I think you're so right: that 70-200 is a fantastic lens, great sharpness and ability to make colors pop. I feel bad it barely gets any use these days.

Mike, you touched all the bases in this portrait of the Audubon's when it comes to showing the most important field marks. That's not an easy aspect of bird photography, but one of the most important in my mind. Excellent bird photography!

Nice Northern Shrike shot. Getting close can be difficult since they hunt out in the open on perches with good visibility. If you can see it, it's already seen you.
