Thank you very much, I always appreciate a nice comment. I was concerned that I'd pushed the clarity too much. I don't even see that kind of detail with my own eyes but if the camera sees it .....

Great blue heron & gull. It looks like the heron got into a scrap with someone. That's a pretty big split on the side of its face.
