Very nice!

Great capture!

Nice close-up!

Wonderful shot of the fairy Wren!

That's a beauty!

Excellent series! Myakka is a wonderful place. I've been there only once and I would definitely go there again.

Thank you--sogs.

Thanks, sogs. It has changed a little, the weir and dam are no longer there but it's an improvement because you're able to get closer to the alligators and birds on the other side of the river for better shots.

I vaguely remember the dam. We took the boat ride and then hiked some trails.

Had a Clark's Nutcracker show up in the yard this morning. The resident Steller's and Scrub-Jays kept a close watch, but didn't make any serious moves. A Flicker, however, seemed to be very possessive of a particular pine cone.

many thanks Mike. All good fun  . I knew you were razzing, and feel free to tease away

But as mentioned I do prefer a perched shot as opposed to a ground one for these, so this afternoon we setup a special photo shoot in the studio and I was very pleased with the outcome. Obliging little beauties
These are virtually straight out of the camera with a tad of curve adjustment for brightness and De Noise for noise. Not sure there was any in the original

What a wonderful capture of this cute gal, Richard! It is absolutely a crowd pleaser in my opinion. I definitely would get it framed and hung in a prominent location. Exceptionally nice work!

Both of these portrait shots are really nicely done, Kirk! You really nailed the sharpness with each of them. To me the crow shot is quite impressive...my favorite of the two.
