Apparently, I got too close, and it took off. I saw it down the street on another light pole but I just kept riding past it so it could eat in peace. One of these days, I'll get a shot of the hairy that visits but doesn't want to perch anywhere except the suet feeder. The pileated, of course, just laughs from deep in the woods.
