Two outstanding shots of this little wren, Ken. I'm guessing they are a tough bird to get close to and photograph.

Thanks Mike. I've only seen a few. They don't seem especially shy, but they like to forage in dense vegetation in forested areas. This one was in an unusually open area.

Stunning shot of the male Superb Fairy Wren, Richard! Beautifully composed. In my opinion...one of your best!

Tack sharp image, Richard! I love this setting. Ya just can't beat a rusty ol' barbed wire fence for it's rustic appeal (at least in my opinion):-)

Mike thank you for your kind and encouraging comments.
Agreed on rusty barbed wire. It's very much part of the modern natural (rural) world :-)

A sandhill crane that I spotted coming out of the lake while riding my e-bike at Lake Myakka yesterday morning. He kept coming at me for a minute there. Made me a little nervous.

Great capture, Jimmy! He is displaying quite nicely. By the way...you are a much braver man than I am. No snowshoes on a semi frozen pond for me!

Very nicely captured, Jimmy!

Thank you kindly, Mike...although not sure it was as much brave as it was temporary lack of sense!

Excellent capture, Paul. Are you getting pictures of them mostly in the morning or evening?
