True that! If I could do the same, I would swallow a large, "Joey D's" pepperoni pizza!

This one appears to be a Shoveler/Mallard hybrid. Makes a handsome duck.

Thanks for the reply, Kirk. Interesting that they get along so well.

I think the reason why is, the limpkins are looking for shelled mussels and the stilts look for soft mollusks and both foods are found together along the shore. No competition going on so there's peace among them. Have a great day, Mike!

Nice shot, I like the openness, and it makes me feel like I'm there myself looking at it. Good job.

Nice shot. Good dof, color, and sharpness.

A great egret in a pond at Tom Bennett Park in Bradenton, FL and a pair of boattailed grackles in a treetop expressing their happiness. (same location)

Beautiful shot of the drake bufflehead, Mark!

Great shot of the red-winged blackbird trying to impress the ladies with his song and flashy colors, Rich!

Lovely capture of the White-bellied Cuckoo-shrike, Pippan! Our Loggerhead shrikes sort of resemble this bird.

Fantastic portrait shot of this pair of beautiful Mandarin Ducks, swltr!

Very nice hen mallard shot, fotoi!

Two terrific shots, Kirk! Was the Black-necked Stilt and the Limpkin remaining together, or were they just passing one another? It would be kind of odd it they were buddies.
I especially liked the shot of the Sandhill Crane. It's very sharp and lifelook looking.

Two terrific captures, Charles! The young man definitely looks pleased. And the close-up of the Harris's Hawk is tack sharp.

Thanks! I normally "don't do people" but sometimes they get in the frame anyway! Couldn't resist capturing this moment.
