I read a piece somewhere in the past where the author was of the opinion that, from his vantage point, there are only 3 kinds of birds: Pigeons, Eagles and Little Brown Birds.

In a few years of photographing birds, I've become more discerning than that, but not by much, and not today. And so, for your perusal, I offer a portrait of a Little Brown Bird.

Well Kirk...We do not have those ducks out here in California, and since I've never been to Florida, I'm going to take a guess and call them male and female Mottled Ducks. I pretty sure that's what they are. Very nice shot of the pair, and that is truly a lovely shot of the pied-billed grebe!

Only catch is, it doesn't work on Linux, hence my comment about the wrong tools for the job. -?
