Well Kirk...We do not have those ducks out here in California, and since I've never been to Florida, I'm going to take a guess and call them male and female Mottled Ducks. I pretty sure that's what they are. Very nice shot of the pair, and that is truly a lovely shot of the pied-billed grebe! Incredible sharpness with this Pied heron close-up, Pipan! Smashing capture of the juvenile Great Horned Owl, Paul! Terrific photography. Lovely loon capture, Clough! Two super nice captures Astoria! The colors possessed by the Purple Gallinule are simply amazing. What a great capture this is, of the White-breasted Waterhen, RAL! It is definitely a smile shot! LD, or Mike
