A couple shots from this morning at a new location south of me in Sarasota, it's a place called, "The Celery Fields." You're restricted in this particular area to shooting from a platform above the water. It's a very popular place for birders, so if you're in the area .......

Burrowing Owl - Gathering nesting material.
Burrows tend to make numerous twists and turns, with a mound of dirt at the entrance and an opening at least 4–6 inches wide.
