Mar 12, 2023 18:20 | #25608 Tried to sneak in another attempt at bird photography today, this time, opting to try out the eos R. Didn't get along with it either. Don't eif I got a setting wrong or I'm just not good at this. One of the better images from the try. Went through ai servo which seemed worse, face / continuous (might be an ironic setting, focused on whatever). Lighting conditions pretty bright, decent iso (400) and shutter speed. Tried burst mode too and images seemed to get worse through the burst. Image hosted by forum (1200913) © wxjef [SHARE LINK] THIS IS A LOW QUALITY PREVIEW. Please log in to see the good quality stuff.

Yeah the Owls ears are beginning to show, to cool. ![]() They fledged so hopefully they'll stick around that tree a little longer. Excellent capture of this cute little fuzzy bugger, Paul! Superb capture of the Canada Goose, fotoi! Great color. Terrific capture of this beautiful Purple Gallinule with humongous feet, Ed! They sure must make it easy for him to walk on lily pads. Cool looking shot Ed! Not something you see all that often. I'd like to see this guy race a duck across the pond. My money would be on the duck. Both these shots are beautifully photographed, Kirk! We always refer to coots as mudhens. They are not high on my list of favorite birds. Lovely capture of the Bearded Tit, Mark! Quite an attractive shot. Very nice close-up shot of this beauty, reggie! Terrific capture of these two Gila Woodpeckers, Tom! Both images are sharp, and the setting is great! Nice capture, Paul...but these guys have awful table manners. LD, or Mike
