I love this shot. Very pretty. So is the other. The bird I believe is a Song Sparrow.

Excellent; yet to see one this year.

Thanks Lester. I didn't do well with them last year at all so pleased to have such good views already in '23.

That low camera angle makes me feel like I'm sitting right there with the Red-wattled lapwing. Lovely capture, Cog! Very nice sharpness and detail.

I truly like this American Robin shot, Jimmy! It's really sharp, and this guy stands out very nicely!

The IQ is poor (bad light/position) but I liked this wood ducks expression so I posted it. It was reaching back to preen but it looks like it's angry with me. A great blue heron in the 2nd shot.

Very attractively captured great blue heron image, Kirk! I like the fact that it included the habitat.

Terrific shot, Bill! All the distinctive yellow marking of the Yellow-rumped Warbler can be seen on this bird plus the setting is quite appealing.

This Red-bellied Woodpecker capture is truly appealing, Bill! It's one of those shots that belongs in a frame and hung on the wall.

Love the fluffed feathers and detail, Mike!
Great eye contact, too.
Well done

Many thanks for your encouraging compliment, Jimmy. Mourning Dove are quite plentiful in my area year around. I kinda take them for granted. This shot just seemed a little bit different from my everyday shots, so I kept it.

Catching it in mid-fluff makes for a very interesting shot, Mike!

Thank you kindly, Steve. I threw all the other dove shots away on this shoot, and kept this one for the very reason you mentioned.
