Burowing Owls and Owlets- The Owlet eyes have changed from brown to yellow. They leave the nest about 44 days after hatching and begin chasing live insects when they are 49 to 56 days old. It won't be long and these owlets will be on their own. Camera: Sony Alpha 1 March 17, 2023

I usually like to see a little background detail to set the environment but in this case I prefer the f/6.3 photo.
