What a nice sharp shot of the house finch, Ken! The snow background adds a nice touch.

I had no idea that Thrashers vocal sounds were similar to that of the Mockingbirds. Interesting.

This Red-shouldered Hawks' portrait is truly stunning, Paul! I love it.

The Thrasher surprised me too.
The Catbird also mimics other birds.
The Mockingbirds voice is much louder.

Agreed, it's a very vibrant blue during mating season and the golden light makes a difference as well. They're one of my favorite birds.
