Another lifer! I’ve never seen an Eastern screech owl but I somehow spotted this one while I was driving home from work just a few minutes away from my house! I went home to grab my camera and binoculars (and my wife) and she spotted the one behind it with the binos. I’m hoping they’ll keep using that tree and hopefully hatch some young there.

What a heartening photo of the Sandhill Crane Colts with their parent, Paul! Your timing here was perfect.

Stunningly beautiful shot of the drake Wood Duck in full color, fotoi! Not a single feather out of place!

This is really an appealing capture, Jan! Great composition and setting!

I commented already, but I'll comment again.:-) Seriously beautiful capture of the Snowy Egret, Kirk! I love the lighting.

What a lovely, sharp image, Tom! This guy really looks serious about wanting something to eat immediately!:-)

Really nice capture of the Chipping Sparrow taking a bath, Bill!

Captivating shot of the Eastern Kingbird, bluesydude! I like the buttery green background. The Kingbird stands out so nicely. Nice 3D effect.

Super nice shoto, Paul! These young'uns surely are gett'in to be all grow'd up in a hurry.

Thanks ... again, Mike. I appreciate it.

Thank you kindly, Ulrike. They are definitely an unusual looking duck. Muscovy ducks are found mostly around parks and never in the wild (to my knowledge).

LD, or Mike
