Action shots are always interesting, and this is a nice one. Correct, and nicely photographed. The large size and long, downward curved bill are the keys. This particular curlew is called a WhimbrelI, but I don't know why "curlew" isn't part of the name. You've probably got Long-billed Curlews around somewhere as well. Ken
