Wonderful Family capture Mike. Happy trails.

Thank you very much, Paul...much appreciated.

Great shot, Mike. Never seen the whole family together before.

I appreciate your kind compliment, fotoi. For whatever reason, like you, I rarely see the entire family together. That's why I wanted to get this shot so much.

Beautiful shot of the Wigeon hen, fotoi! Very nice color and sharpness.

An especially nice capture of the two Limkins on the lake shallows together, searching for food, Kirk!

Beautiful shot of the hen turkey in the field of yellow flowers, Kirk! They surely give this photo an extra boost.

Outstanding capture of the Eurasian Wren, Jan! Nice sharp image...beautifully composed!

Lovely capture, Rob! Definitely an amazing opportunity to observe and photograph this magnificent eagle family!

Thank you, Mike.

Yellow-crowned Night-Heron with Chick - Often nests in isolated pairs or in very small groups, especially in northern part of range. Displays include stretching the neck upward with bill pointing skyward, crouching with all plumes erected, and giving a loud call. Pairs greet each other by raising crest, calling, touching bills, nibbling at each other's feathers. Image captured thanks to a good friend with a boat in St. James City, FL. Camera: Sony a7Rv w/ a 100-400mm lens shot at 400mm. May 14, 2023

Thanks, Mike. It's probably my best shot ever of limpkins. I personally like how the one is peeking underneath the other. I think it adds a little drama.

The flowers really enhance this :)

Thank you! A lot of people go out in that field this time of year to take selfies, etc. I've even seen thespians out there using it as a backdrop for video. It's very pretty, it looks like an ocean of yellow flowers. I'll take my wide-angle lens next time I go and get a shot of it.
