Nice detail. I suppose "mudhen" is another name for "coot"?

Thank you Capn Jack. It is legal to call them either mudhens or coots. I prefer mudhens. :-)

Nice image with a nice background. This was in Arizona? I wouldn't expect to find ducks there, but there she is!

Hi Cap'n...We do have ducks in the general area thanks to some urban lakes and ponds. However, this one and her mate were hanging around an open field with the nearest water several miles away.

Stupendous capture of the female Superb Fairy Wren, Richard! Tack sharp and very 3D looking.

Terrific series of these two boys copying one another's movements, Richard! I think I could watch them for hours and enjoy their antics.

You captured the Willie Wagtail very nicely Pippan!

Both the Turkey Vulture and the White Morph Egret are outstanding captures, Kirk!

Lovely capture of the Australian Ringneck Parrot, Urlike! Quite an attractive bird.

Gorgeous up close shot of the Western Tanager, SYS! The certainly are beauties.

Thanks, Mike!

:) Either one is telling the other to stop copying, or they are both engrossed in a tennis match
