I was surprised when I first saw this beautiful shot, Rob. At first, I didn't recognize the raindrops, but then when I saw you shutter speed of 1/60 of a second, I realized it was definitely rain. Did you hand hold this shot, Rob?
!

Thanks Mike, yes this was handheld

Nice set. I bought an RF 100-400 a few days ago and I like mine so far, and as you say, pretty good with good light and backgrounds in the distance.

Two beautiful shots of a beautiful bird, S.R.M.! You are fortunate to have these beauties around.

Thanks very much Kirk and Mike!

Female Shining Flycatcher - one of the few species where the female is more colourful than the male. :-)

Yes indeed, Pax...it's kind of hard to believe that this guy is going to get that entire crawdad, down the hatch, shell and all. I wish I could have watched him eat it.

Both the Great Crested Flycatcher and the House Wren are great captures, flurp! Very nicely done!

Two beautiful shots of a beautiful bird, S.R.M.! You are fortunate to have these beauties around.

What a wing span on this big boy, Ulrike. My money says, you'll get some great shots of a Wedge-tailed Eagle before long.:-)

What a super close-up portrait shot of the Sulphur-crested Cockatoo, Dennis! Sharpness and detail are right on the button.

Stunning lifelike capture of this Little Blue Heron checking out the fishing possibilities! Mighty appealing shot, Kirk!

As always, thanks a bunch for the kind comment, Mike.
