I'm always jealous that you have these little clown floofs so readily available for pics. And, you capitalize on that fact so well; just another great shot from you. Thanks!

Mike these Jays are beautiful birds.
I love the pose and the colours.
Very nicely composed

Interesting perch. Looks like one of our star dropper survey markers. Painted alternate red & white striping.

Richard, your very complementary remarks are truly appreciated. Thank you so much. These metal posts are commonly used to string barbed wire. They last longer than wood posts, and today are more popular (I believe) due to their lasting quality.

Although we are back in lockdown with no visitors allowed, we had a visit from this Laughing Kookaburra (Dacelo novaeguineae) late this afternoon!

Exceptional shot, Bill! Great pose.

Well, that's a genuine bull rider, Joe.:-P Very nice capture. These guys have a cool symbiotic relationship. Cattle egrets follow and eat all the various bugs and insects that cattle find annoying. The cattle don't mind the egrets riding on them at all. Both benefit from this relationship. I think it's pretty cool.

Melissa these are beautiful.
You are privileged to have such colourful beauties in your domain.
And you capture them in intriguing ways. :-)

Thanks so much, Richard. :-) I am very fortunate for sure. And I am realizing that even more so this past year or so.

Thanks, Eric. :-) I have really been enjoying them this year. The puffins are about 300 km from where I live, and they only come to land (to nest) for about four months per year, so I used to only go there once a year. But this year, I have been going every couple of weeks. I have already been there four times so far this season. :-)

Green Rosella ~ Platycercus caledonicus
the only species of parrot to be confined to Tasmania
They are beautiful birds with a lovely call, and being parrots quite entertaining at times
