I like seeing some of the Gull's environment. Beautiful drake Mallard portrait shot, fotoi! Your Brown Goose is a very attractive looking bird, Michael. Great shot! I tried to look this this goose up on Google, but couldn't find any information on it. Two excellent Barn Swallow shots, Cap'n! This shot of the American white ibis is really a beauty, Kirk! I like the breaking wave...it adds appeal in my opinion. Beautiful Meadowlark shot, Joe! I haven't had a single shot at one, so far this year. They are one of my favorite subjects. Terrific Eagle shot, Jimmy! I love the setting. What a unique, well timed shot of the Burrowing Owl, Paul. I wonder what this guy is looking at? Thank you Mike

They normally come through during migration periods but apparently a few stay over. Bill being Smug

Belted Kingfisher..the ones in my area are so skittish it's difficult to get close ![]() Eastern Meadowlark...it's like whack-a-mole to catch them when they pop up in the open for a few seconds ![]() You certainly nailed this Belted Kingfisher, which I too find extremely skittish, Steve! Also, your "whack-a-mole" analogy for nailing Meadowlarks is spot on. LD, or Mike
