Thanks, Mike. Agreed, but they wouldn't know how to use it and probably get it all around their mouths. Ha!

I have to disagree with you on that point, Kirk. The other day I left a full giant size jar of Brylcreem at the water's edge of the rookery that I frequent. I went back yesterday, and to my surprise the jar was completely empty. I noticed that everyone of the Herons and Egret that I saw were looking mighty snazzy (well groomed)! Their bills were kinda goopy looking though:rolleyes:

An osprey eyeing me as I entered the park so I stopped for a shot.

Two great captures!

Another Bald Eagle I found in a construction sight while out on a walk in Haines, Alaska. The background was very busy so I eliminated it.

Excellent close-ups!

Female Broad-tailed hummingbird, though she could be a Rufous, not sure. This was taken in the Black Hills of South Dakota

You certainly nailed this Belted Kingfisher, which I too find extremely skittish, Steve! Also, your "whack-a-mole" analogy for nailing Meadowlarks is spot on.:-) You captured this Meadowlark very nicely! I Love the low camera angle and the great background.

Thanks for the comments Mike!
