Not your typical nature shot at all, but it is different, and I find it attractive in its own way.

Thank you Archibald.

Amazing, sharp, close-up shot of the Great Blue Heron, John!

Very nice shots of these two Reddish Egrets Kirk!

Very attractive Cardinal shot, Joe! The red bird against the black background is quite dramatic looking.

Fine capture of the Sanderling enjoying a bite to eat, sogs.

Thank you Mike

I found another shot of the same bird. Not sure if this will allow it to be identified.

Well, I think I found it, Michael. It's called a Ruddy Shelduck. I think they are a beautiful looking species of waterfowl. I like their rich reddish brown color.

This young Cooper's hawk wasn't as good at flying as his siblings. While they were constantly flying in the vicinity this one decided to take a walk across an open yard. I'm guessing he was the youngest and will catch up to them soon.

Nice close-up shot of the young Cooper's Hawk Jim! I think you're right about this youngster catching up to it's siblings soon.

Beautifully alluring shot of the Northern Mockingbird, Bill! That old pump has certainly become quite useful.:-)

Very attractive shot of the gull, Michael! All the somewhat blurry color of Barcelona really adds to the appeal of this image.

Wonderful Reddish Egret capture, Kirk! These Reddish Egrets have more photographic appeal than any other egret or herons, in my opinion.
