This snowy egret was walking toward me and wasn't going to stop.

Truly a stunning capture of the Snowy Egret, Kirk! Your low camera angle adds so much to this shot.

Nice one! However, it's a Greater Yellowlegs.:-)

Two great captures!

That's a fine landing shot!

Looks like a Ruddy Shelduck.

Fine capture!

Two excellent captures!

Thank you Sogs

Beautiful capture of the Common Bluethroat, Jan! If I listen carefully, I can almost hear his song. :p

Very attractive shot of the gull, Michael! All the somewhat blurry color of Barcelona really adds to the appeal of this image.

Wonderful Reddish Egret capture, Kirk! These Reddish Egrets have more photographic appeal than any other egret or herons, in my opinion.

Very nice wading Sanderling capture, Kirk!

Thank you LD.

This red roster means serious business. Terrific action shot, RAL!

Great close-up capture of the Hill Myna, RAL!

Well, I think I found it, Michael. It's called a Ruddy Shelduck. I think they are a beautiful looking species of waterfowl. I like their rich reddish brown color.

Nice close-up shot of the young Cooper's Hawk Jim! I think you're right about this youngster catching up to it's siblings soon.

Beautifully alluring shot of the Northern Mockingbird, Bill! That old pump has certainly become quite useful.:-)

Thanks to the old pump, this is another amazing shot of the cardinal, Bill!

Wonderful three shot close-up series of the Laughing Kookaburra, and the Tawny Frogmouth, Harry!

Thanks LD. I have never heard of a Ruddy Shelduck.

I googled Ruddy Shelduck, and to my surprise, there they were.

Very nicely captured Tasmanian Native Hen, Stephen! They remind me of our mudhens (coots).

Thanks Mike!

That bird is looking down his nose at you, RAL. How rude! :p But you did make a great shot.:-)

Haha, thanks Mike.
The bird was copying and repeating my whistles seriously.

Thanks, Mike. I'm just glad that I'm still able to get up.
