I'm hoping we'll luck out in the Mid-Atlantic states and be visited by some Snowy Owls this year. This Snowy, from a few years back, hung around Assateague Beach in Virginia for a couple of weeks..

this juvenile Superb Fairy Wren was so sleepy.
It was very windy and I expected it to get blown off the rail, but it hung on and every so often it would sit up when it heard a strange noise.
