My Christmas present: The baldie came to visit. He was immediately harassed by the crows. The first shot is with the 800f11+1.4TC the second shot is the 500f4+1.4TCIII. The Baldie settled on the opposite side of the pond on top of a tree. (obviously overcast morning) When a second crow came and joined the harassment the baldie left.

I dont often have the opportunity to contrast the new kit with the old. It was SO easy to capture the baldie in flight as it left with the 500. It is a wonderful lens but I really like both......

Flurp, both lenses did a great job. I'm really impressed at what a nice image you got with the 800 f/11 plus the 1.4TC. Very nice work.
