BTW I shot this with my new RF600mm F4 that I got on weekend . This lens is unbelievably light and thus way easier to quickly capture birds as against on a tripod. Its that light now I can hang it off my shoulder although have to watch the hood as its that long I worry about it hitting things close to the ground! Also POTN dont have an inclusion yet for the model code /details when posting however hopefully it sill change shortly Cheers Congratulations! Great shot! To think another way....there's always another way.

Mar 06, 2022 17:24 | #10863 I’m waiting for spring so I can photograph some different kinds of birds in my pond, but those dreary winter days do have some appeal to them. Just got this quick shot after work tonight. Image hosted by forum (1148052) © Dontcry4mejanhrdina [SHARE LINK] THIS IS A LOW QUALITY PREVIEW. Please log in to see the good quality stuff.

I couldnt be happier with the lens . ....Only issue I have is the AF not wanting to acquire on big changes in distance. Like 20meter to say 80 meter. Not that I shoot in that long part of the range that much but it is stubborn on acquiring the AF at times. But between 5 meters and 30 meters which is my range its fine and fast. Unbelievably good to be able to handhold a RF600 and shoot BIF. ......Total game changer ![]() Cheers That issue is with all mirrorless cameras at this point. Including the R3, A1 and Z9. When grossly out of focus it does not like to come back. I set my manual focus ring to work full time so I turn the ring and get the focal area closer then it will snap back. You can set your pre focus ring also to get somewhere you like to be in that range so if it goes out you can pull it back. flickr https://www.flickr.com/photos/robamyphotos/
