Male Shining Flycatcher in dense vegetation at Berry Springs, Northern Territory.

Fantastic! I always have trouble with these guys due their dark colour often against a dark background, but you have done a brilliant job

medmonds...this is an extremely nice shot of this Gouldian Finch! Great photography! I'm amazed at what a gorgeous bird this is.

Two very nice shots of these youngsters, Paul! Sad to hear about the fatalities resulting from the use of rat poison.

Excellent capture of this Torresian Imperial-pigeon, Pippan. Very attractive shot!

Two very nice shots of mom and pop shovelers, flurp!

Terrific close-up shot of this Pied-billed Grebe taking a bath, Manny! I think the numerous water droplets scattered about, add appeal to this shot.

Gorgeous wigeon close-up, fotoi! The sharpness and color are great.

This shot's a beauty, Doug! I like the way you composed it.

You captured this shot so nicely John! Great work.

Thanks Mike! They really are amazing :)

Thanks M! I liked the dark look and as you can see from the settings, it was very dark in there.

Still waiting for the wisdom they promised would be worth getting old for.

This is a great capture. beautiful soft background really helps highlight the colours of the goldfinch.

Thanks very much for the appreciation medmonds, cheers! :)

one from last years Tasmanian Native Hens hatch that live around our house.
Yesterday I went and sat on the grass where they were eating and they immediately raced up to see what was going on.
They are like that being very curious birds but equally flighty.
These being used to me hung about for ages all the time grazing and looking at me
