Very sharp, beautifully photographed image, Steve! Definitely a neat looking puff ball of feathers.:-)

Thanks, Mike! Sometimes, thankfully, they fly in right in front you of, fluff up, smile and patiently wait for their pic to be taken.

This is a beautiful portrait, Mike. It looks so much like our Eastern variety, but after doing some reading, I see that your image clearly shows the difference between the two.

Looks good, Ed! I'm still struggling with Topaz - tried it on the woodpecker photo after doing a Lightroom Enhance, but liked the original better.

Hi Ed. I find it works very well on some and not as well on others. But I never know until I try it. It’s very time-consuming I guess my computer is slow but for that reason I don’t try it on every photo but every now and then I see one and I think maybe that one would improve.

Thanks for the comment. Yes, that's my experience too. It's unpredictable and time consuming. And tests the eyes!

What a nice shot - colorful, and great subject separation.

A soggy yellowhammer...

Raining, no light, as close as I could get, so very heavy crop and held together by Topaz Denoise... :p

Excellent killdeer shot, Mark! I like the nice low camera angle.

Thank you Mike! When I get a chance, I usually try to get as low as possible.

Hi Peter...

Very nice photograph of the Northern Mockingbird. The over-the-shoulder pose is a nice one.
