Excellent capture, Jimmy! Nice and sharp with a great background.

Thank you, Mike!
He was quite the little poser.

This is quite an impressive shot, G88! The more images I see shot with the RF 800mm F11, the more I am impressed with this lens. And you made this excellent shot at 1/80 of a second! WOW!

THANK YOU Mike! Yeah F11 needs a slower shutter speed (at times). Thank goodness this lens is stabilized and the time of day (dusk) certainly help with the nice light I got.

This little Jacky Winter was so inquisitive, flitting around me in the deep, dark mangrove forest behind Casuarina Beach. I was clicking away, thinking of the great photos I'd be getting of this bird I'd never photographed before. Somewhat disappointed to see the camera LCD completely black! I'd just come into the forest from the bright sunny beach, thinking I was on Auto ISO. Ended up with images well more than 5 stops underexposed. So I thought this could be an exercise in recovering such an image. Not too bad all things considered (thanks Adobe and Topaz), especially considering the incredibly tiny photosites the 90D has on its sensor.

Nice recovery. It won't impress folks who judge a bird photo by the number of vanes you can count in a feather, but it is an attractive image. Just say you were going for an artsy watercolor effect.

Terrific captures, Paul!

This is an attractive looking shot, Dontcry4mejanhrdina! I really enjoy it.

Thanks LD! Hawks around here do NOT usually like me even getting close enough to try to identify them with binos but this one was just chilling on a fence post and never even acknowledged me. I’ll gladly take that opportunity when it arises.
