Such a sweet shot, again.
It's tack sharp.
The movement of the bird is perfectly recorded.
And finally, there is a nice tension in the picture.
What more can one ask for?

Thanks for sharing.

Some of the juvenile waders look alike, but this little fellow already has upwards bent beak and blue feet.

Very nice picture. The angle of view and the posture fit perfectly.

Great shot of the ladder-backed woodpecker, Bill. They are extremely similar to the Nuttall's woodpeckers in my area.

Terrific low angle shot, Jan! It looks like this pied avocet is having quite a tug of war with a stubborn worm.:-)

It's giving us the stink-eye.:-P

Thank you, Paul. I was hoping it was a look of curiosity rather that the stink eye.-?

This is one terrific portrait, Mike! That background color suits the Phoebe so well. This bird needs to author "How to Pose for Photographers," bless its heart. ;-)a

What a wonderful compliment, Steve. I truly thank you. These guys really are great posers. Sometimes I think they really do try to pose for the camera.
