Moved to a second home where we finished half of the basement and steps to landing. This is where all of my Lightroom Classic work will take place in Dark hours. The finished Side, 13’x26’ , drywall, two window well ambient facing NW and SE, white ceiling. Medium dark synthetic Hardwood flooring.
Walls currently in a light yellow.
Utilitech 6” dimmable Can LED with Adjustable Kelvin 2700, 3000, 4,000, 5000 and 6500 K set to 2700 K.
iMac 27 Calibrated with Spyder XPRO for the room 5800 K, 120 Brightness and also a 6500 K 120 as well for comparison. Room lighting dimmed at appropriate level for “Photo Editing”.
Will be purchasing a new Canon ProGraf300 printer as well.
Wondering if now may be time to paint the room A “Neutral”gray and eliminate the “Tungsten” cast of the room so to view printed images in “Daylight” setting.
As with any gray, there are underlining color casts, blue, purple and green.
Looking to see what most are using in their “Lounge”.
Thanks..

Something else to think about when you choose your paint use a flat or matte helps kill reflections.Figured that out after i painted 2 walls in eggshell.Made a big difference when i repainted in matte.
