If a pub sign is a caricature of a famous person then it doesn't have to be accurate in any detail, but if it's a true likeness then it has to be correct in every way. Correct decorations and regalia in every way. If not then the owner, brewery or free house can be heavily fined My ambition for a good while is to grow old disgracefully.
