It's a bit slow - 15 knots ?

Yes! That's just what I was thinking - but perhaps the passengers are never in a hurry to get - or go - anywhere - especially if the bar is well stocked.:-)

I'll bet you won't Pipan as it's obviously on the dog watch mate

Edit : - Just for the dimmies wot don't know what the dog watch, it ain't something you wear on uer wrist.

A dog watch is a work shift, also known as a "watch", in a maritime watch system that is half the length of a standard watch period. This is typically formed by splitting a single four-hour watch period between 16:00 and 20:00 (4 pm and 8 pm) to form two two-hour dog watches, with the "first" dog watch from 16:00 to 18:00 (4 pm to 6 pm) and the "second" or "last" dog watch from 18:00 to 20:00 (6 pm to 8 pm).

They had to do that to stop the 'fish-eads' from getting stroppy by not having any work time changes init -?

OK, I don't quite get the difference between a single 4 hour shift and two back to back two hour shifts. Or are different "fish-eads" doing each two hour shift?

I think that it works like this.

On the dog watch the watch have to do a clock watch for the 2 hours so at the end of their watch a new watch can take over to clock watch until the end of their dog watch. But if there are any 'fisheads' out there that know different then please inform us because I was only a 'crabfat'.

Doggett's Coat and Badge. South bank River Thames and Blackfriars Bridge. UK.
Surrounded and overpowered by shiny new buildings. The buildings were not there when I worked nearby! But that's progress - I suppose? Who needs this sort of progress?-?

The short watches are curtailed so they are called dog watches.
