Paypal shipping question

Stupid question-

I just sold a lens on Facebook Marketplace. The buyer sent me her shipping address but it does not match the address PayPal has on file. She says Paypal has her permanent addy but she is a traveling nurse and she is currently working in OK (permanent addy in TX). Am I at any risk shipping to her requested address rather than the one Paypal has on record? Her facebook profile has nurse-related posts, so story kind of checks out. I believe her but just want to be safe.

I think you should look at what Paypal has to say about confirmed/registered addresses.

If address isn’t verified, PayPal will say not to ship to them. No matter what get insurance on the package for the full amount and be sure to have a good receipt of the sell and for sending the package just so your monies are safe.

'Travel nurses' are in common use around the US. Given the fact that her story jives via nursing sites, her story is likely legit. Not a lot of folks even know about existence of travel nurses.

I have sold stuff and taken Paypal payments, then I have disregarded the shipping label (and costs) provided by Paypal, and instead set up USPS labels for shipment via USPS Priority Mail flatrate boxes. I did not experience any issues, handling about 6 different transactions involving darkroom equipment in the past 4-5 months.
