At 7-months and about 60-pounds, Serena is developing into the alert guardian that the Great Pyrenees was bred for. Although we have no sheep for her to guard, she has already assigned herself the task of safeguarding our four small dogs. We expect her to reach between 80 and 90 pounds at maturity which will make her quite a formidable guardian...

She's friendly and gentle but, if I were an unwelcome stranger, I would not want to try to get past this dog - even at her young age...
